ACCESSIBILITY
Can I bring my service dog?
Guide dogs and other registered assistance dogs are welcome. Please contact us prior to booking so we can assist you with best locations to ensure you enjoy the performance.
I need assistance entering and exiting the building. How do I arrange this?

Where are the accessible seats located?
There will be a variety of accessible seating in various areas of the auditorium for each performance. These locations may change from one show to another based on the sightlines and technical requirements for their specific show.
Where is the accessible parking located?
West HQ has two multiplex carparks. Recommended parking is located in P1 carpark which is best accessed from Railway Street, Rooty Hill. There are 14 designated parking spaces located on the ground floor with stair free access to our brand new main entry foyer, West HQ box office, Eat Street dining and bars.
Where are the accessible toilets located?
Inside Sydney Coliseum Theatre, each of our three levels inside the theatre, have accessible restrooms featured at the entry way to each of all public restrooms. Locations within West HQ include, Eat Street, Eat Street Bar, The Sports Bar, The Ambassador Room and Southern Entrance.
GENERAL
If I arrive late for a show will I be allowed into the theatre?
If you are late, we will seat you as soon as possible, but please be aware that some events have lock out periods where latecomers cannot be admitted until a suitable break in the performance.
Is food available at the Sydney Coliseum?
There is a range of refreshments available inside the Sydney Coliseum Theatre. A variety of dining options are available inside West HQ as you enter the Main Entrance.
Is my bag/backpack allowed in the theatre?
We encourage you to avoid bringing any large items to the Sydney Coliseum Theatre. Large bags, backpacks or suitcases are not permitted into the theatre. Handbags up to A4 size are permitted but may be inspected as a condition or entry. We will ask you to store these in our cloak room which is a free of charge service. Our cloakroom is located at the Main Entrance of West HQ. Items presented to the cloaking desk will only be accepted from customers with a valid performance ticket. If you are uncertain, please ask one of our Customer Service team members who will be happy to assist you.
I’d like to work at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre, how should I apply?
Being part of the West HQ, we advertise all our positions on our website located here: https://westhq.com.au/about/careers/. As we get closer to opening, all positions for our team members that will be employed by us will be advertised on this site.
What type of security measures are in place?
The safety and security of our customers, visitors and staff is of paramount importance to us. We may undertake security screening upon entry to the venue. Please contact us at www.sydneycoliseum.com.au if you have any questions.
Will my child need a ticket?
All customers must have a ticket to gain access to the Sydney Coliseum Theatre. Ticket price for children will be determined by the Promoter – these are generally classified as a Junior priced ticket or cheapest priced ticket for that performance. Some productions will allow babes-in-arms or children under 24 months of age to sit on the lap of their parent or guardian free of charge; in this instance, a complimentary babes-in-arms ticket will be issued. Please check the show information or contact Ticketek before you purchase your tickets to discuss the policy for your specific show.
Can I bring a stroller, pram or baby capsule into the Sydney Coliseum Theatre?
Strollers, prams and baby capsules are not permitted into Sydney Coliseum Theatre and we encourage you to leave them at home or in your car if you’re driving to the venue. If you must bring them with you, they will need to be checked into the cloak room before entry to the venue.
Can I bring my own food into Sydney Coliseum Theatre?
We do not allow customers to bring their own food or beverages into the Sydney Coliseum Theatre.
Can I smoke inside the Sydney Coliseum Theatre?
The Sydney Coliseum Theatre is a 100% smoke free environment.
What if my performance is cancelled?
If the show you were attending is cancelled, you will receive an email from Ticketek offering a full refund or an exchange to a later performance.
What sort of shows will be at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre?
The Sydney Coliseum Theatre will host live concerts of all musical genres, musicals, contemporary dance, ballet, symphony, comedy and dramatic theatre. The Sydney Coliseum Theatre will also host corporate events such as conferences, banquets and cocktail parties. What time should I arrive to see my show?
On show nights, West HQ can be a busy precinct. We suggest you plan ahead of time and arrive at least 30 minutes before your show start time. We have a stellar collective of chefs and well-known food brands which call West HQ home, providing something delicious for every taste and occasion, so why not come in a little earlier and beat the crowds?
